Somehow there is a deep meaning to that quote in my life right now.

I get angry when people are able to love something so much they become obsessed with it. They learn everything they can about that thing, they talk to others who are likewise obsessed. I struggle with balance so much that to me, it seems that no matter what the obsession - sports, art, music, helping people, whatever it is - devotes too much energy to that one topic. However, reading about someone who is creative and, relitivly speaking (for an artist,) sucessful being obsessed somehow gives me a good feeling. Perhaps being "into" things helps people be creative. Perhaps there is a balance to be struck, where the volumn is higher and there is room for both.
